BBFC League Match Report - Rnd 9

Another tough day at the office for the League team with half a dozen forced changes since the Ellenbrook game. We knew we would have to put up a strong performance against the top team in the comp after a poor display the previous week.

Our goal was to limit the opposition scoring & control the game for long periods of play. Overall we managed to succeed but our inability to finish our good work, combined with SNESA’s efficiency in front of goal meant we still went down by a fair margin but their were some positives to come out of the game.

We had Connor Begley, Escher Mavrick, Denver Fosdike & Aleck Maddern all make their League debuts.

Despite missing 3 of our back 6, we managed to keep SNESA to under 100 points

We managed to frustrate the opposition & keep control of the ball for long periods of the game.

Hopefully we get some more players available this week to put the pressure on the selectors.

BBFC Goals: Michael Piper 1, Escher Mavrick 1, Brandan Stonehouse 1

BBFC Best: Michael Piper, Robert Berden, Jack Redman, Wayde Devine, Denver Fosdike, Connor Begley & Matthew Mills
