BBFC League Match Report - Rnd 10
Heraclitus, a Greek philosopher, has been quoted as saying “change is the only constant in life.” and this is certainly true of team selections at the Bulldogs this season.
Another week and another half a dozen changes. Some forced and some strategic.
But still we focus on trusting the process and backing our incoming players to continue to play their role for the team
So we ventured down to a damp Atwell Oval to take on the second placed, Jandakot Jets. After a slow start it looked like we had found the Jets measure but they were more efficient in front of goal and we trailed by 4 goals at the first break.
The next two quarters were played in wet and slippery conditions and the Jets were slowly able to work us out of the contest, outscoring us by 8 goals to 4.
The final quarter saw us down to just two on the bench and despite working hard right until the final siren we weren’t able to make any inroads into the deficit.
We still had some strong performers during the course of the day and hopefully no serious injuries out of the day which should see us close to full strength to take on Secret Harbour at home this Saturday.
